Turnout!

Last week, the horses all got turned out for the summer, including the liveries, obviously, they get brought in when they are needed. I love the summer because, there's no more muddy coral, there's no more squashed coral where the horses are fighting each other to get brought in because of the cold. In the summer you get much better pictures, for example,

Being in the field can even make Thor look good which isn't often a thing we see, we mostly see a grumpy thor but in the field, thor can live up to his majestic potential like he is supposed to!
Percy always looks majestic no matter what setting he is in, Percy looks good covered in mud because Percy is life! Smartie looks adorable in these pictures and it was actually one of my friends who took this lying down photo of him where he looks super cute! When the horses are lying down they always look really cute so I love the picture of Sam, Kate, Percy and Guinness, lying together, I edited it to look really cute.

I'm really excited for this Sunday when we can go right up into the backfield where all of the horses hide because compared to the winter the horses dont want to come in, we dont have to take liveries up to the field and we just walk up with headcollars and bring in whatever horse you want, while waiting for all of the horses to be caught me and percy try and do liberty work where I will just put his leadrode around his neck and run around with him following, we do it every year and it just strengthens the bond that we have.
