Travel learning experience!

Scotland!

My mum and I are going on a journey. Where you may ask? Well as far up north as you can get on a train in England! It's going to take a week and we are going to have to pack as light as possible because we are going to be backpacking because nobody wants to wheel a suitcase up a mountain.
Basically, I am going to take a big backpack and my mum is taking her light little backpack that doesn't hurt her neck, well see who the one is with the sore neck is when we get home.

We are going to start by traveling to Perth where we will switch trains so that Holly Bobbins can go for a wee, then we are going from Perth to Inverness, then we are going from Inverness to Thurso, then lastly we are going from Thurso to Wick. It is going to be a long journey.

Thurso is a town and former burgh on the north coast of the Highland council area of Scotland. Situated in the historical area of Caithness, it is the northernmost town on the British mainland. This is one of the places we will be making a pit stop at before we head on to Wick. Thurso is the station just before Wick.

Wick is a town and royal burgh in Caithness, in the far north of Scotland. The town straddles the River Wick and extends along both sides of Wick Bay. This is the farthest you can go on the train, you cannot go any further up north and so it is going to be really fun to explore wick and possibly have a lovely stroll on the beach with Holly Bobbins.

We are going to explore the geographical differences of the land to see how it differs from the land down south to the land up in the north around the highlands, we love the highlands and so does holly and so this is a fun learning experience and it will be even better because I am planning it all myself and my mum is just the money supplier!

We will be doing all of the walkies with holly bobbins and then adding more holly walkies pictures.

Thanks for reading and ride on! XXX
